HL7
Standardized Integration for Seamless Healthcare Data Exchange
Health Level Seven, or HL7, is an international standard for transferring clinical and administrative data between various healthcare software applications. Although it is widely adopted, the implementation of HL7 standards differs across organizations, often resulting in compatibility challenges.
Kipu has addressed this issue by developing an HL7 integration component strictly adhering to the official standards established and maintained by HL7 International. Founded in 1987, Health Level Seven International (HL7) is a not-for-profit, ANSI-accredited standards developing organization. It provides a comprehensive framework and related standards for the exchange, integration, sharing, and retrieval of electronic health information. This information supports clinical practice and the management, delivery, and evaluation of health services.
