Mental Health Awareness Month | May

Mental Health Awareness Month

It’s mental health awareness month and this year, we want to take this time to focus on and thank all healthcare providers who have suffered greatly during the pandemic. In a survey conducted by Mental Health America (MHA) at the height of the pandemic, 93 percent of healthcare workers said they were stressed out, 86 percent reported experiencing anxiety, 77 percent were frustrated, 76 percent said they were exhausted or burnt out and 75 percent said they were overwhelmed. This is a great reminder that we need to rally around our healthcare teams, especially as they continue to adjust to issues such as staffing shortages and new care delivery models.

It’s been a grueling past two years and we are forever grateful for your courage and sacrifice to keep our communities healthy – mentally and physically. Thank you for all you do.
